Hello darlins! Im currently collecting pictures for my home based business myspace account ( www.myspace.com/cookiesnspiders adding friends is on hold till page is finished.) Its not just about selling my baked goods and candy, but I want to turn it eventually into an ezine, forum, and such. Right now Im just starting slow with myspace (Im more of a word of mouth/ flier type promoter but I figured myspace is a start for ordering).
I want to make Cookies n Spiders a good mental environment to be young at heart. Creepy and cute. Luvvage and cupcakes!

What I wanted is an album kinda describing that. EGL holding baked goods or candy. How about a Sweet Lolita with her pet spider? A little boy in girls clothing making cookies? Were you gothed out at Disney World? GO NUTS and be creative! Can be picture or art form! Maybe you found a spider in your cereal? Can be any form of photography! You will get credit under description of picture :) Ill put your account if you want or selling journal, doesnt matter!!
remember....creepy and cute is what we are aiming for! you can email me at cookies_n_spiders@yahoo.com with picutres and any info!

Sign up for our mailing list at cns_list@yahoo.com

PLEASE add us to your friends on myspace ( www.myspace.com/cookiesnspiders ) and we will add you back when page is almost complete .

Hi everyone, I'm new to LiveJournal and am looking to make some friends and get some tips. I love wearing lolita fashion and am a beginner in sewing, hoping to make and sell original clothes some day. I love to combine lolita with rockabilly and diy kitsch style fashion- turning vintage and retro prints (like pokemon bedsheets and super mario fabric) into lolita-style jumperskirts and accessories.

I can't wait to start talking and making friends, and I hope to receive plenty of feedback and criticism- I still have a lot to learn! ^_^

Hi. My name is Dayna and I'm 18yrs old and from Hawaii. It's pretty hot now a days. I don't have much lolita clothes and am taking baby steps in trying lolita out. I don't exactly stick to one style; just depends on my mood. I was hoping to get feedback/critique on these coordinates since I'm still somewhat of a noob. They're a little fruits inspired.

is it possible? [

i recently lost a lot of weight, and so i don't have many clothes. i bought a bunch of cute casual lolita things this winter, but they are all long sleeves and things that would keep me very warm because i walk to my job at the bakery when it's several degrees below zero.

i'm working on some summer clothes now, because, again, i work in a bakery, and it gets SUPER hot there in the summer. so i'm trying to put together some lolita outfits with short sleeves or sleeveless jsk type things that i can wear when it's ninety degrees outside and i'm inside behind the ovens. and all i have right now which still fits and is in good condition are tights. last year i had some homemade knee socks which i wore with my skirts and i SWELTERED! and... i always liked those little ankle socks which they say of course, in the handbook ABSOLUTELY NEVER TO WEAR. i loved the pairs i had when i was a little girl, which i wore when i dressed up and i used to have a few pairs before i became a loli which i would wear with things. they're cheap (there are some really gorgeous ones on sockdreams.com right now with fancy venice style lace as well as several other varieties.), they look cute with maryjanes, and they'd help to keep my legs cool in the summertime. i understand that they are associated with "sissy" style, and i know what that is. it's men who want to dress like little girls for fetish purposes, or to be forced to by women. i am not now nor have i ever been a man. i don't look like a man, and no one would confuse me for one. i do not speak in baby talk or wear diapers or anything else which may confuse people, and i have no problem answering people's questions about my "weird clothes" when they ask me about them. i'm aware that anklets are not the iconic look of a lolita, but brands DO occasionally make them. that's my arguement for wearing anklets, and i'd like to hear helpful suggestions about how to pull off that look without looking awkward or cheap or suggestive, as well as any other reasons you can think of why i shouldn't, again, though, i'd prefer POLITE remarks. i apologize if this looks like i am trying to flame anyone, i just feel kind of defensive of these poor little socks that people have given a kind of bad rap. i wanted to know if others thought it might be possible to wear these and look all right... i wanted also, to know if i was alone in thinking this.

thank you all for your time.

Sorry for the LONG OVERDUE POST. DX [So-en Eye 1979] (HUGE SCANS!) [

Man I can't believe this. DX I completely spaced out on posting this! I'm so very sorry.

This post is contains some pages of my mum's surviving 1970s-era fashion-cum-patterns magazine from Japan. According to someone over at either egl, tokyoagogo or fruits (I'm not sure which one, I've forgotten already 6^_^000), the title is So-En Eye. But, because my sisters and I tore off the cover - besides tearing off other pages and ruining a good deal of the other pages with ballpoint ink, as you'll see from the first page - while we were still very, very young, we'll never know. v=_=000 I'm actually amazed this magazine survived though; my mum has always told us that she used to have a huge pile somewhere, but then we began to move around a great deal. It's really sad that this is the only magazine I found rummaging through my mum's belongings when we moved more than 3 years ago.

I hope you enjoy it all the same! And, uh, I'm terribly sorry for the delay - they've been scanned in since mid-2006 (and some since 2004!), but ... between being busy and getting sick, I also got lazy. XD;

I hope these inspire you when you try the casual route in lolita.Collapse )

hi guys [

Hi there. I'm new here at casual lolita. I live in orlando florida and I'm enamoured with lolita fashion. And fashion in general...well that is cute. I'm a fashion design major. I'm 21. My favorite colors are black and pink equally. My fashion sense is unique and the way I see fashion is the same. To me fashion is an art (because it really is) and like any art is boundless and without guidelines and should be taken as your own. This goes for any fashion style as well. I think what I like and am quite stubborn. And I take no one as a superior to me (not meaning that I am greater than you but I will not be thinking of you greater than me). People are equals and deserve to be such. Lets share our ideas and respect each others differences.

*I say all that because I have recently come into problems with other lolitas because of what I think*

I'm glad to be here and hopefully can meet lots of lovely people.
